Our Gothic Hearts is my Substack—a weekly letter from my messy desk on gothic literature, the making of Coven, the research behind the world, and the questions that don’t have clean answers. Free subscribers get weekly essays and behind-the-scenes notes. Paid subscribers unlock the full archive, early chapters, chat thread and exclusive essays, short stories, deleted scenes and full unedited podcast episodes.

The podcast is the audio companion—slower, more intimate, and not scripted. My motivation is to inspire my own writing, to challenge myself to write about difficult themes, and to find the Gothic heart of the story. It’s also where I document the DIY road to publication: the cover, the map, the research, the mistakes, and the small victories.
